How to Restore a Backup Using JetBackup 5

Restoring a backup with JetBackup 5 is a simple process that allows you to recover your website files, databases, and other account data. Follow these steps to restore your backup using JetBackup 5 in cPanel:

  1. Access your cPanel account through your hosting provider’s login portal.
  2. Enter your username and password, then click Login.
  1. Scroll down to the Files section in cPanel.
  2. Click on the JetBackup 5 option.

JetBackup 5 allows you to restore different types of backups. Select the type you want to restore:

  • Full Account Backup: Restores the entire account.
  • Home Directory: Restores individual domains, files or folders.
  • Database Backups: Restores your MySQL databases.
  • Email Backups: Restores email accounts or data.

Click on the respective tab based on your needs.

  1. Backup will be available date-wise, with the last 30 days of backups stored on the server.
  2. When you select a date, the “Choose File” section option will be enabled.
  3. Select the domain, file, or folder you want to restore.

  2. Navigate to the Queue tab in JetBackup 5 to check the progress of the restoration.
  • Ensure you choose the correct backup date to avoid overwriting any recent updates.
  • Back up your current data before initiating the restoration process, just in case.
