Steps to Setup MX Record in cPanel

1. Log into cPanel

• Open your web browser and go to your cPanel login page. Enter your username and password to access your cPanel dashboard.

2. Find the Zone Editor

• In the cPanel dashboard, scroll down to the Domains section and click on Zone Editor. This is where you can manage DNS settings, including MX records.

3. Select Your Domain

• In the Zone Editor, find your domain from the list. Click Manage next to the domain where you want to set up the MX record.

4. Add a New MX Record

• Click on the + MX Record button. This will open a form to add your new MX record.

5. Enter MX Record Details

• In the form, enter the Priority and Destination values provided by your email provider.

  • Priority: Lower numbers indicate higher priority.
  • Destination: The mail server address (e.g., mail.example.com).

• Once you’ve entered the information, click Save Record.

6. Verify the MX Record

• After saving, verify the MX record is listed correctly under the DNS records for your domain.
