Accidentally Deleted Important Files
If you’ve accidentally deleted files, don’t worry. With JetBackup 5, you can restore your website data in just a few clicks—provided there’s a recent backup available.
Restore from Backup
Section titled “Restore from Backup”JetBackup 5 in cPanel allows you to restore your files from recent backups. Follow the steps below:
Access Backup Tools
Section titled “Access Backup Tools”- Log in to your cPanel dashboard.
- In the Files section, click on “JetBackup 5” to access backup tools.
Select a Backup
Section titled “Select a Backup”- Click on “Home Directory” under the available backup options.
- Choose the most recent backup date that contains the data you wish to recover.
Select the Directory of the Domain or Subdomain
Section titled “Select the Directory of the Domain or Subdomain”- Navigate to the directory of the domain or subdomain where the file was deleted.
- For example, use public_html for your primary domain.
Restore Files
Section titled “Restore Files”- Scroll down to the Restore & Download section.
- Click on the Restore button at the bottom to begin the restoration process.
By following these steps, you should be able to recover your deleted files.
