Changes Are Not Reflecting on Website

Sometimes your browser keeps old files (like images, styles, or code). So you may still be seeing the old version of your website.

  • Press Ctrl + F5 (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac) to refresh your website hard.
  • Or go to browser Settings → Privacy → Clear Cache.

2. Clear Website Cache (If You Use Cache Plugins)

If your website is built on WordPress or other platforms, you might be using cache plugins like:

  • WP Super Cache
  • W3 Total Cache
  • LiteSpeed Cache
  • Login to your website admin panel.
  • Find your cache plugin settings.
  • Click on “Clear Cache” or “Purge Cache.”

Some hosting servers use caching systems like LiteSpeed or NGINX caching.

  • Login to your hosting control panel (like cPanel or Plesk).
  • Look for a section like “LiteSpeed Cache” or “Server Cache.
  • Click Purge All Cache.

If you use a CDN (Content Delivery Network) like Cloudflare, it may be showing the cached version of your website.

  • Login to your CDN dashboard (e.g., Cloudflare).
  • Go to Caching → Configuration → Purge Everything.

5. Check If You’re Editing the Right Website

Make sure you are updating the correct domain or folder, especially if you:

  • Have multiple websites or subdomains
  • Are working on a staging site Double-check your hosting file manager or ask your developer.

Your browser might still be holding an old version. Try:

  • Opening your website in Incognito/Private Mode
  • Using a different browser (like Chrome, Firefox, or Edge)

7. Wait for DNS Propagation (If You Recently Changed Hosting)

If you just moved your website to a new server or hosting, it can take some time (up to 3-4 hours) for the DNS to update worldwide.
