How to create a new folder in File Manager?
Introduction
Section titled “Introduction”Creating a new folder in cPanel’s File Manager is a simple process. Just follow the steps below.
Step 1: Log in to cPanel
Section titled “Step 1: Log in to cPanel”- Open your web browser and go to your cPanel login page.
- Enter your username and password to log in.
Step 2: Open File Manager
Section titled “Step 2: Open File Manager”- On the cPanel dashboard, find the Files section.
- Click on File Manager.
Step 3: Choose the Folder Location
Section titled “Step 3: Choose the Folder Location”- In File Manager, go to the folder where you want to create the new folder.
- For example, click on public_html if you want the folder there.
Step 4: Click on ”+ Folder”
Section titled “Step 4: Click on ”+ Folder””- At the top left, click the + Folder button.
- A box will appear asking for the folder name and location.
Step 5: Enter Folder Details
Section titled “Step 5: Enter Folder Details”- Type the name of your new folder in the New Folder Name field.
- Make sure the location path shown is correct. You can change it if needed.
Step 6: Create the Folder
Section titled “Step 6: Create the Folder”- Click the Create New Folder button.
- Your new folder will be created.
Step 7: Check the New Folder
Section titled “Step 7: Check the New Folder”- You will now see your new folder in the chosen location.
- You can open it to upload files or create more folders.
By following these steps, you can easily create a new folder using cPanel’s File Manager.
