How to connect domain with server?
Connecting Cloudexter Domain with Cloudexter Server
Section titled “Connecting Cloudexter Domain with Cloudexter Server”1. Log in to Your Cloudexter Account
Section titled “1. Log in to Your Cloudexter Account”- Log in to Cloudexter client area using your account credentials.
2. Access DNS Settings
Section titled “2. Access DNS Settings”- After logging in, locate your domain in Product and Services. Under domain setting Look for an option like “Update nameserver” or “DNS Settings.”
3. Update Nameservers
Section titled “3. Update Nameservers”- Go to the DNS settings and find the “Update Nameservers” section.
- Update the nameservers to the following:
- ns1.secure-web.cloud
- ns2.secure-web.cloud
- ns3.secure-web.cloud
- ns4.secure-web.cloud
- Save the changes.
4. Wait for DNS Propagation
Section titled “4. Wait for DNS Propagation”- It may take a few hours (up to 2-4 hours) for the DNS changes to propagate worldwide. During this time, your domain should start pointing to your server.
Connecting Other Registrar Domain with Cloudexter Server
Section titled “Connecting Other Registrar Domain with Cloudexter Server”1. Log in to Your Domain Account:
Section titled “1. Log in to Your Domain Account:”- Visit you domain registrar’s website.
- Log in to your account using the username and password (the account where your domain was purchased).
2. Access Your Domain Management:
Section titled “2. Access Your Domain Management:”- Once logged in, go to the My Products page.
- Under Domains, click on Manage All to see your list of domains.
3. Select the Domain You Want to Update:
Section titled “3. Select the Domain You Want to Update:”- Click on the domain name you want to update the nameservers for.
4. Navigate to the Nameservers Section:
Section titled “4. Navigate to the Nameservers Section:”- In the domain settings page, scroll down to the Additional Settings section.
- Click on Manage DNS.
5. Update Nameservers:
Section titled “5. Update Nameservers:”- In the Nameservers section, click on Change.
- Select Custom from the options available.
6. Update the below Nameservers:
Section titled “6. Update the below Nameservers:”- Replace the existing nameservers with the following:
- ns1.secure-web.cloud
- ns2.secure-web.cloud
- ns3.secure-web.cloud
- ns4.secure-web.cloud
7. Save the Changes:
Section titled “7. Save the Changes:”- After entering the new nameservers, click Save to apply the changes.
8. Wait for DNS Propagation:
Section titled “8. Wait for DNS Propagation:”- DNS updates may take anywhere from a few minutes to 24-48 hours to propagate across the internet.
Once the DNS changes have fully propagated, your domain will be pointed to the new nameservers, and you’ll be able to manage your DNS settings accordingly.
