How to connect domain with server?

Connecting Cloudexter Domain with Cloudexter Server

  • After logging in, locate your domain in Product and Services. Under domain setting Look for an option like “Update nameserver” or “DNS Settings.”
  • Go to the DNS settings and find the “Update Nameservers” section.
  • Update the nameservers to the following:
    • ns1.secure-web.cloud
    • ns2.secure-web.cloud
    • ns3.secure-web.cloud
    • ns4.secure-web.cloud
  • Save the changes.
  • It may take a few hours (up to 2-4 hours) for the DNS changes to propagate worldwide. During this time, your domain should start pointing to your server.

Connecting Other Registrar Domain with Cloudexter Server

  • Visit you domain registrar’s website.
  • Log in to your account using the username and password (the account where your domain was purchased).
  • Once logged in, go to the My Products page.
  • Under Domains, click on Manage All to see your list of domains.
  • Click on the domain name you want to update the nameservers for.
  • In the domain settings page, scroll down to the Additional Settings section.
  • Click on Manage DNS.
  • In the Nameservers section, click on Change.
  • Select Custom from the options available.
  • Replace the existing nameservers with the following:
    • ns1.secure-web.cloud
    • ns2.secure-web.cloud
    • ns3.secure-web.cloud
    • ns4.secure-web.cloud
  • After entering the new nameservers, click Save to apply the changes.
  • DNS updates may take anywhere from a few minutes to 24-48 hours to propagate across the internet.

Once the DNS changes have fully propagated, your domain will be pointed to the new nameservers, and you’ll be able to manage your DNS settings accordingly.
